Anna Clark-Martinez has been an advocate for children and families in Waco since the early 1990’s. Serving as a conservatorship worker and supervisor for the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services (Child Protective Services) Anna learned to value the Dispute Resolution Center and its service of mediation and conflict resolution for families in crisis. Respecting the dignity of all concerned while firmly advocating for the emotional and physical safety of children is a fundamental motivation for her life’s work. She has been an active volunteer in the nonprofit community for the past 15 years. Ms. Clark-Martinez is a graduate of Baylor University, and she also completed post graduate work in the area of international relations at Vrieje University in Brussels, Belgium. Most recently, she has actively served on the boards of CASA of McLennan County, the Waco ISD Education Foundation and the Youth Chorus of Central Texas. She and her husband, Phil Martinez, have two children currently attending Waco ISD schools.
